Cathy’s background includes over 25 years in the meetings industry shared between the hotel, corporate/incentive planning and association arenas. She has planned meetings in over 30 countries for groups in size from 15 – 16,000.

Cathy currently serves as a Board Member on the CMP Board of the Convention Industry Council (CIC), and a Board Member of the Northwest Chapter of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association).

Cathy enjoys the sport and training of triathlon in her spare time, and has successfully completed two (6) Ironman Triathlons.

She lives with her husband Mike and her two Great Pyrenees dogs in  Portland, Oregon.

Her hobbies include all outdoor sports (individual competitive), cooking, travel, movies and music.  She has favorite travel destinations worldwide  - no one favorite place.  Her favorite music includes: Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, U2, and no country.

Eileen began her travel career over 20 years ago.  She has worked in a multitude of areas within the Travel Industry but focused on corporate, group & meeting travel.  Her background includes working at companies such as Pepsi Co., Wet Seal and Fluor Daniel.  She brings her airline expertise to Embark LLC offering excellent service and attention to detail to our clients and attendees.

Eileen and her husband Matt live in Washington State. When she is not working, Eileen enjoys cooking, gardening, concerts, movies, playing with her dog and going wine tasting (so she can add to her wine collection).  Of her many travels she would have to say Germany & Israel were her favorite places.



Embark Friend and Colleague Senator David Adelman to be named one of Georgia Bio’s 2010 legislators of the year given for “extraordinary contributions to the growth of Georgia’s life sciences industry.”

Georgia Sen. David Adelman (D-Decatur) and Rep. Amos Amerson (R-Dahlonega) have been named Georgia Bio’s 2010 legislators of the year.  Senator David Adelman will receive the award this week at Georgia Bio’s annual award ceremony on January 21st.

Georgia Bio, a nonprofit association, represents the state’s life-sciences industry and counts 300 pharmaceutical, biotech and medical-device companies, universities and medical centers as members.
